Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 inhum\u00e9 \u00e0 Yoff Diamalaye, mercredi, t\u00f4t le matin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Serigne Mouhamadou Makhtar Laye \u00e9tait le 6\u00e8me khalife g\u00e9n\u00e9ral des Lay\u00e8nes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il avait \u00e9t\u00e9 port\u00e9 \u00e0 la t\u00eate de la confr\u00e9rie Lay\u00e8ne, une voie de l\u2019islam soufi, en 2021 apr\u00e8s la disparition du Khalife Ch\u00e9rif Abdoulahi Thiaw Laye.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Au-del\u00e0 de sa ma\u00eetrise de l\u2019islam, Serigne Mouhamadou Makhtar Laye, d\u00e9crit comme un homme cultiv\u00e9 et tr\u00e8s discret, \u00e9tait un expert en t\u00e9l\u00e9communications et en informatique.
